Welcome to Troop 49 ATX!

Important message regarding COVID-19:

Troop 49 is closely following all safety protocols and guidance from local health authorities. At this time, the Troop is meeting outdoors in Brentwood Park and wearing face masks for health, safety and personal comfort levels. As conditions evolve, both scouts and adults review the latest guidance and come to agreement on how to safely conduct all events including campouts, fundraising and community service.

Troop 49 meets at 7:00 pm every Tuesday at Faith Lutheran Church, located at 6600 Woodrow Avenue or Brentwood Park at 6710 Arroyo Seco.

We have around 20 scouts and almost as many adult leaders. Our troop is active, run by scouts, and delivers a year-round program which includes monthly campouts, service projects, merit badge opportunities, and lots of fun.

We encourage a highly trained adult support system that has the skills and know-how to accommodate scouts on their journey toward excellence. We strive to lead by example and allow the scouts to determine their own path of leadership and achievement.
