Troop 49 welcomes those who will follow the Scout Oath and Law. We do not discriminate on the basis of race, ethnicity, religious belief, ability, gender identity, or sexual orientation.
Further, we:
  • Prepare young people to make ethical choices by instilling the Scout Oath and Law.
  • Recognize that respect for others is a core value of Scouting.
  • Aim to reflect the diversity of our broader community.
  • Select leaders based on their talents and capabilities.
  • Hold leaders and members accountable for inappropriate behavior.
  • Provide an understanding and supportive environment for our members.
